Greetings: I wonder what the new ETA for 1.1. beta will be released.....mid June has come and gone....I only wish more WRN resources were devoted to these important enhancements. Thank you for your efforts. They are appreciated. Best.

While the new WRN player is helpful for listening to live and on-demand programming, I also would like to be able to "time-shift" my listening by using audio capture software ** I can then transfer the audio to an MP3 player.
I would also like to listen to live audio on my Wifi Internet radio at home.
These two scenarios require a "direct" URL -- as the Flash player is incompatible with timed recording software and is also incompatible with wifi radios.
Could you provide the URLs for the regional English language streams?
Many thanks -- Richard

Dear Wingate, thank you for your post and words of support. We are currently working through the site updates on our development server, but have discovered a number of problems caused by the upates themselves and are working on them. It is the usual case that the bug fixes have caused their own bugs! It is a slow process... and we have no ETA as yet. We completely understand your frustration! (which we share).
Kind regards,
WRN Website team.

The layout of the web site is fine. The scroll bar with the choice of feeds is excellent.
My grouse is the lack of regularity regarding information updates, and, most of all, promises made ("check back weekly"), which are not delivered: the WRN widget, the feeds for internet radios.

Thank you for your post. We appreciate the feedback and we do read all posts and emails. We apologise for the lack of progress on site improvements due to a number of other projects which are taking up available resources. We are aware of this and are doing our best to move the site improvements up the priority list.
Thank you for your patience.
Regards,
WRN Web Team.

As of last week I have not been able to hear live streams from the WRN website. I do have audio from real player, windows media and itunes via my computer. Suggestions? Thank you.

I listen to WRN a lot. I particularly like to hear the many different viewpoints on news and current affairs items of worldwide interest. Your service is unique (short of continually twiddling the tuner, that is).
However, it is a little annoying to fequently find that a programme on your website schedule that I look forward to turns out to be something else. There does not seem to be any particular pattern to these errors, but the example today is: WRN English North America: Thursday 6th January, 03:30 (UTC) - KBS World Radio - K-POP Connection, which actually turned out to be KBS World Radio - News. Happy Cooking & Healthy Eating; not really an ideal substitute!
I am certainly not about to abandon WRN because of this, but it would be a big improvement if I could be sure of what to expect.
Regards,
Roger Christie
