  Voice of Russia Program Selection

  I hate to be a squeaky wheel, but the VOR programming has slipped again from news (like Russia and the World, Outlook, and News and Views) to "Out and About" and "Music and Musicians." At that is at both the 0400 and 0900 slots. Last week even the 1600 network version was "Out and About." I am truly interested in hearing news, analysis and opinion. Is there a problem getting the shows that you list on your schedule? I have brought this up before, see earlier posts below, and I do hope you will rectify it. Your schedule says 0400 is "russia and the World," 0900 is "Outlook," and the network at 1600 is "News and Views." Thank you.

  We have investigated and it appears that Voice of Russia has introduced several new programmes recently, however as yet, there is no mention of this on their website and their own schedule is not yet updated http://english.ruvr.ru/radio_broadcast/schedule/
  
  We also understand that Voice of Russia editorial board aims to make more \'entertaining\' programmes at this time, this may mean less news programming.
  
  Once we have the updated Voice of Russia schedule, we can see if we can make any changes in what programmes we make available through our channels.
  
  We will make contact with Voice of Russia and request up-to-date schedule information, but in the meantime you may wish to take this up with them as well, their email address is world@ruvr.ru
