  iphone application

  I was wondering if WRN programmers have plans to create an iphone application or other mobile device access. I would think this is one of the ways WRN could be heard by a larger audience. Thank you.

  Dear Wingate, many thanks for your post. An Iphone application is on our development list. We want to first complete our desktop widget, which we hope to launch in early March. Once this is done we will look at other applications including the Iphone.

  How do you suggest that iphone users be able to view the current WRN schedule on their iphone 4? Thank you.

  You should be able to view our website on the iPhone, however you will not be able to stream from it as our site uses the Flash player. A solution to this is on the list of site upgrades. We can also let you know that progress has been made on the WRN Widget, many issues have been resolved and we are near to making it available as a beta 1.0. We hope very soon now. Once the WRN Widget is launched we will look at an Android and iPhone app but a budget for these has yet to be approved.
